Mud, Smiles & a Strong Start to the Season
Quadcross New England – Round 1 at Winchester Speed Park
The 2025 Quadcross New England season kicked off at the legendary Winchester Speed Park this past weekend, and I had the privilege of being the official photographer on-site to capture every gritty, muddy, and adrenaline-packed moment.
We were all geared up for a full weekend of racing, but Mother Nature had other plans. Saturday’s practice was unfortunately canceled due to weather—definitely not the start anyone hoped for. Still, the riders and families showed up in good spirits, eager for Sunday’s gate drops.
Sunday arrived cold and drizzly, with off-and-on showers turning the track into a slick, muddy challenge. Despite the wet conditions, the crew at Winchester kept things running smoothly all day. Hats off to the track staff and Quadcross NE team for keeping the event on schedule and safe.
From behind the lens, I witnessed everything that makes this series special—gritty battles in the mud, wheel-to-wheel racing, and riders of all ages digging deep to keep their machines moving forward. And even with the slippery conditions, what stood out the most were the smiles. From mini riders in their first-ever motos to seasoned pros carving through ruts like it’s second nature, the energy in the pits and on the line was electric.
This wasn’t just a test of throttle control—it was a reminder of the resilience and passion that define the Quadcross community. Cameras were muddy, gear got soaked, but the stoke was high, and the photos tell the story better than words ever could.
